I lived in Sacramento in 04-05 and there were two or three twisters in the area--perhaps a third as a funnel cloud. I remember that time well. It struck me as bazzar that tornadoes would be in this part of the country. One was near W.Sac postal distribution station and one in Natomas. I think the funnel cloud was in Natomas too. Don't remember the damage result, but there was some in the form of missing roofing material. I believe prior to my first trip to China in 06 there was another report of tornado either near Sac. airport or Yuba City. Seems that someone told me there was funnel cloud reports while I was gone. Yeah. weird this is happening in Nor-CAl.

So yes, welcome to Tornado alley West(sorta).
