6. I quit using them

I was a 50-a-day smoker for 25 years. Started using an ecig and overnight, t5hat dropped to 5. Over the next month, I cut out those five and I'm coming up on five months without any analogs at all. I didn't even consciously set out to quit. It was a case that I could get the nicotine, the bit I was addicted to, but get it in lots of nice flavours and without worrying that it would harm my SO and cats. So I just ditched the analogs.

My own doctor has started recommending ecigs to smokers trying to quit and the NHS (I'm British) is looking into adding them to it's smoking cessation aids.
