94. I love the food

but I kid you not: One time when I was waiting for my order of wonton noodle soup, I had to use the men's bathroom. I noticed that the guy using the urinal next to me had on a white top that all the staff use to wear. When I washed my hands I noticed that the guy didn't bother to wash his; he just walked straight out of the bathroom after doing his thing. I thought, "Hummm, must be one of the cooks. I feel sorry for the people whose meal he's making. Or it must be a server. In that case, I feel sorry for the people at his tables." When my food came, I looked up and he was the guy bringing me my Wonton noodle soup! Worst, he had his thumb on the inside of the bowl and it could've touch the soup. Ickkk. This was back in the early 1990's. I didn't complain (what was the use? As if they cared.), and I ate the food anyway. Still tasted great.

Oh, Luminous Animal said that the Sam Woo in L.A. is not the same as the Sam Wo in San Fran. This took place at the one in L.A.
