13. I'm pretty sure the stabilitrack on our new car saved my bacon last year.

It was during a blowing snow storm and the guy in front of me panicked and stopped on i55. I saw his lights and didn't realize he was stopped so I was going to wait for the car overtaking on my left before changing lanes.

I swerved pretty hard at the last second and heard this loud "clunk" on the right side. I thought I swiped him but realized after the fact that it was the brakes on that side engaging. The car jerked around and straitened out as if it were on tracks.

That feature is required on all cars as of, iirc, 2011. Damn nanny state gubmint. They figure it will save about 4000 lives per year.
