3. I read American history now and then and I think

the periods around the 1890's and the 1930's were times when the oligarchs ran this country.
I try to see how the typical American lived then and don't find much. History seems to be about the wealthy.
We may be entering a new period where the oligarchs run everything again. To get us back to the 1890's and 1930's they have to do away with social programs which is what the right is trying to do.
There are more of us then there are of them and so far we are outspending them for 2014. I think it comes down to who has the insight and who wants it bad enough to fight for their position.
