It's sort of disturbing that more people don't think of her when they hear the name. It seems that many people have never even heard of the goddess's name before, even though she's quite prominent in mythology. I know that people aren't as familiar with Egyptian mythology as they are with Greek and Roman mythology, but Isis, Osiris, and Anubis are covered in most standard history textbooks regarding Egyptian history and beliefs. People shouldn't be acting so weird about a girl or a woman named Isis.
