Annie won the hubby lotto & that's her only claim to fame..

my main beef is with the media that only sees the frosting and never the cake

they are too afraid to touch the Mormon button, which would explain one reason why she was that stay at home mom..

the MAN rules the roost and as a good mormon wife (her choice again) she stayed home. It was no burden for her though and she should never be used as the template for stay at home moms who do given up a career to go back home, or for the ones who decide they are willing to live on less in order to stay home..

There is no ONE way to be a stay at home.. I have been that woman a few times in my life..I did not work for seven years because I had 3 kids in 5 years, and the sitter would have actually made more than I would have cleared, so I was happy to stay home until they were in school...and then again as my "baby" entered high school and was into sports, I quit for good so I could be a part of that..

We could afford it, so I did it. Never asked for pats on the back, but of course we also lived frugally so it could happen
