I thought Obama haters belonged on the freeper/Pox/breitbart sites...

I'm sorry to say this but they remind me of my late mother. God rest her soul in peace with the angels! But NOTHING I DID was ever good enough. NOT EVER. Mainly because I was fat and didn't care that much about my appearance when I was younger. NOTHING I DID was ever good enough for her. I got straight A's. ALWAYS made the honor roll. NEVER got in trouble. NEVER dated some asshole they had reason to hate or distrust. NEVER drank or smoked cigarettes - OR pot. NEVER ditched school. NEVER got arrested or stayed out all night or made them worry or ran around with a bad crowd or ANYTHING. Nevertheless, she would ALWAYS find fault. Of course I was not perfect, so she was able to find a LOT to criticize. And she did, with relish. She insisted on perfect while the best I could come up with was merely good - NEVER enough to get close to satisfying her. And later on when I'd grown up and moved out, graduated college with good grades, started my career, and found a good guy with whom I set up a stable marriage, AND lost weight, too, she STILL was able to find fault. She still criticized me - til the very end. Even literally almost on her deathbed (about a year before she passed), she still made it clear to me that she didn't, couldn't, and WOULDN'T EVER accept me just as I am. She was world-class in that particular "talent."

As I write this, I realize this is probably what leads me to post all the stuff I've posted in the past either defending support for Obama or support for Hillary or SOMEONE/SOMETHING that has an actual chance to win, rather than the pure and perfect that only the connoisseurs and perfectionists among us find worthy and for whom/for which they resolutely hold out, either to "send a message" or prove some "point".
