48. The battery has an 8 year 100,000 mile warrenty

so with any luck the cost will come down by 2020 (but my friend only leased it for 3 years).

After all this time its pretty amazing to hear GM’s final decision on the Chevrolet Volt’s battery warranty. Eight years or 100,000 miles.
