The heat really sucked the last few days—I'm just glad it was dry heat.

BTW: (I live in Southern California, near the ocean). I just stepped outside and the air was a mix of ocean humidity and some of the warm air from the day's heat (which felt more like July or August). But, I'm guessing the high pressure system is beginning to move out.
Whew.

Autumn, please. It's been a long summer.
