God this is one of the hardest things about having critters around in your life.
I wish we could relieve human suffering at the end of life the way we're allowed to with the animals we love. Surely the humans and elders we love deserve the same gentle, painless passage.
Sounds like Daisy was loved to the very last moment - and still at THIS moment.
Lot of us with you, NuclearDem. You do not mourn alone.
