4. Zimmerman's in jail - his lawyers quit, new lawyer, special prosecutor - 2nd degree murder

Zimmerman's PR lawyers quit - Z had called SP wanted to talk to her, she refused without attorney. Z claimed he didn't have attorney, just "legal advisors". SP called lawyers to say WTF? They couldn't get hold of him, had a big presser & quit.

Z hired new lawyer. Some kind of arrangement was made that Z would meet with SP investigators where he was arrested. Z didn't expect that (DUH?). SP charged Z with 2nd degree murder - depraved indifference.

Z has made first appearance. At the hearing, his lawyer & SP agreed that record should be sealed until trial. Judge had hearing Friday - she may have to recuse herself. Her husband in firm with Mark Nejame, who Z had tried to hire twice and who gave Z new lawyer's name. New lawyer, Mark O'Mara - lots of experience, not flashy, low key type.

Martin family pleased and ready to let the courts handle things.
