2. Get a service rep from one of the major veterans organizations

They often have offices at VA hospitals. You can contact one of the groups to find one, but the best bet is to ask around among vets in your community first to find a good one.

A service rep knows the claims process, can answer your questions, and will handle all the submissions and correspondence for your case, relieving you of that burden.
