But I do not think Alison Grimes is a racist. And I don't think Alison Grimes fits real nicely into our labels, such as "R" or "D". She calls herself an "independent, Kentucky woman". However, on most of the issues I have heard her speak on, she sounds like a Democrat.
Who do I think she voted for? I think Obama. But she has no obligation to prove her loyalty to the Party or to any individual, black or white or other, by responding to such a question. It is nobody's business who she voted for. That's why we have the secret ballot.
