47. The thing is, there has always been attacks on the Dem nom from supposed "progressives"

Whoever the Dem happens to be - the same script has been used for 25 yrs.

Proof is these "progressives" only attack the leading candidate, nominee, or officeholder enough to sap support from him only with the intention of defeating him - and when support in Congress is required for an actual progressive policy initiative, be it single payer healthcare, or reining in Wall Street & the corporatoctacy, or ending the oil wars, etc, etc, these "progressives" seem to evaporate.

What Warren supporters are doing is exactly what they've accused Hillary supporters of doing (excepting Warren herself, of course): crowning a candidate without the benefit of a primary campaign. The problem being, they don't have a candidate to crown.

That's not a strategy that will ever defeat the GOP. So exactly who does that strategy actually help?
