Africa has many diseases that do spread by insect bite, but Ebola has not - they've always been able to show it was direct contact with a sufferer.

I'm not aware of any studies showing mosquitos can harbor viable Ebola virus.

Malaria is carried by mosquitos. 2012 in Africa 200 Million cases. 620,000 deaths.

No, but nurses under voluntary quarantine with symptoms on planes do spread it.
