13. There is nothing in the story that indicates

that he reacted violently when the police arrive. I just don't believe that cops will file accurate reports when you have an excessive force situation. There have been too many blatant examples of excessive forces that go unpunished.

Based upon what turned out to be solid evidence that the ex-girlfriend filed a false police report, I would be willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt until such time as independent evidence comes out as to exactly what his historic behavior was (and I am a woman). A lot of times when a relationship goes south there can be a lot of crap from both sides. Given that she filed the false report when she had to have known that the son was dieing smacks of pure malice and vindictiveness on her part. Given the son's medical condition, there is a good chance that his attention was focused a lot more on the son then the her.
