I subscribe to a local paper that is published daily in a community not far from me. I also read our weekly paper for the news of my rural community. The Freeport Journal Standard charges me a lot for a subscription. The editorial page, and even some of the above-the fold alleged "news" articles are becoming increasingly conservative. Often, those articles are filled with half-truths and downright lies. I am considering canceling my subscription.
