After reading your article and watching the video I don't see where anything is all that bad. They were in the car together. The guy was not just a random guy walking by. He was with a guy, who at the time, could have been under the suspicion of some pretty serious narcotics. Even the young man filming says he was way off. I really don't blame the cops for reacting the way they did here. They had no clue what was going on.
Cops need serious lessons in de-escalating problems while at the same time ensuring control. It is something they should have down pat by now.
