11. They've made Obama Look Bad.

They revealed stuff that the White House didn't want revealed. They made it harder to buy the current Admin's refusal to prosecute war crimes. The Administration wants to hang them; therefore all loyal Democrats are called upon to vilify them.

That's as close to an answer as I can come.

And apparently they have some libertarian connections. Anything a libertarian does is done to injure the nation. Q.E.D.
