5. Better yet, mandate that companies train US citizens for these tech jobs

rather than bring in wage slaves.

It's not that there aren't qualified people in the US. It's that H1Bs are cheaper and more dependent on the employer. By "more dependent" I mean more easily convinced to put in extra hours for no pay.
