accurate and funniest description EVER of what virtually all political "journalism" has descended to. Politics in this country is now conducted at a middle-school popularity contest level and no one is more to blame than the media except perhaps for the 30-50% of the populace that is, to use LBJ's description, "so dumb they couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel."

Pierce has to be some kind of enlightened Zen master.
