7. I had a pollster call with very leading questions to that effect

Asking if it would change my opinion of Gwen Graham (running to oust Steve Southerland, FL-Tea Party) to hear that she accepted a $10,000 donation from Nancy Pelosi. My response was, well it made me think WORSE of Steve Southerland to learn he had accepted more than $100,000 from the Koch Brothers' fake grassroots groups.

Another question, asked in breathless, shocked tones, was if I knew that Gwen Graham had campaigned for Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi AND Howard Dean! "So what," I said. "So did I! I'll be even happier to vote for Gwen knowing that we worked for the same goals." After that the pollster stopped trying to be dramatic and just droned out the questions.

Right after that Southerland's ads started using the same talking points. Asshat! I hope we can kick him out and get some sanity in, even if Graham is not as liberal as I'd like. If she is as good as her father, she will be brilliant - her father is Bob Graham, former Florida Senator and Governor.
