midterms should be abolished. In addition, political "seasons" should be reduced to three months by law. If a candidate cannot get a message across in three months, he/she doesn't have the knowledge and ability to govern. No one need be reminded that elections should be publicly funded. No outside money in anyone's campaign, none: local, state, and federal. If a candidate gets any outside funding, the candidate should be disqualified immediately. Media ads should be limited to 8 per month; 2 each week. Voting times should be from 8 am Friday until mid-night on Sunday, with Friday being a national holiday. Only paper and pencil ballots allowed for all elections. Absentee ballots requested and returned one month before election week-end. Once a voter is properly registered and receives a registration card (free), no other ID will be required.

In addition, members of the Senate and House should be elected every four years. All elections during the same year. Term limits for Senators and House members should be the same as for the president: 2 four year terms. All lobbying should be abolished. Members of government should be able to do their jobs without outside influence.

All voters who follow the circus called America's elections have their own ideas about starting to clean up the mess we refer to as "politics." I have outlined a few of mine.
