10. I'm not happy about the Inhofe situation myself, but we're still not doomed, either.

Yes, I know how bad the mood is here, and tonight, I'll let the doom-and-gloom stuff slide by and large.

But the best, and most intelligent thing we can honestly do here, is not totally give in to despair. We still do have a realistic chance for a better world, and if anything, we need to fight harder than ever before.
