Leadership isn't something that emanated from one person. Each and every candidate had a choice to show their own leadership. After all, Congress is supposed to be a collection of people who lead the country. If you want to be in Congress, you SHOULD be demonstrating your own individual leadership.

Applauding the things that were done that helped people (And telling people HOW they were helped, and how many were helped) and acknowledging the the things that were done wrong, explaining WHY they were wrong, and how you're going to try to fix them.

Not trying simply to hide from mistakes or ignore them, but meeting them head on and working to change them.
