I am the president of our local Democratic club. Also a precint committee person for our legislative district. We along with many of our club members were all in. We phone banked, canvassed, put up signs, anything we could do to help. W e hosted candidates at our clubs, wrote letters to the editor, anything we could think of. Sadly, here in Arizona, we pretty much had our asses handed to us but Goddamnit we fought hard. The koch brothers spent big here. So did the utilitie cos. Oh well. I'm too old to quit now.

If you want to get more involved, call your local Democratic office, explain your circumstances and ask how you can help. If they are anything like us, they can use all the boots on the ground they can get and will probably send a car for you to get your help. there are lots of things that need doing. If you are not comfortable canvassing or phone banking you can stuff envelopes or something else.

You might want to wait a week or so though. We're not feeling much joy in Mudville at the moment.
