It's a lot like my wife. Everything was fine until Obama got elected and she's been on a downward slide toward conservatism ever since. We can't talk politics at all, now. Even when she asks me if I voted or sent in my ballot I get uncomfortable.
We need a special therapy group for those whose spouses/parents/children have gone kooky conservative in the last few years after a lifelong period of reasonableness.
