I don't blame him for the way things are in Washington right now. Ultimately, it's the American people and our fucked-up media who are responsible for this mess. I think Obama's been too passive through all of it, but I'm not so sure how much things would have changed if his personality had been more confrontational. The media would have painted him as a lunatic and the Fox zombies would have sucked it all up and repeated it over and over again.

We've got a very sick country on our hands, and Obama seems like the cautious doctor who is afraid of doing harm to his patient. He's kept our vital signs more or less stable, but he's afraid we'll die if he removes the cancer that's growing within us. Besides, he can't do it by himself. He must have assistants to help him in such a serious operation. I have no idea what our prognosis is. I think the shit is really going to hit the fan in the next couple of years leading up to the election. The pressure has been building for too long now. Something has got to give.
