People who do really hard physical labor should be allowed to collect full SS benefits EARLY - not later. I was a white collar worker and yeah I have to say that I never had to do the kind of work you're talking about. The people who do that kind of work are to be admired out there everyday busting their butts to earn a living. I'm not looking down on that kind of work. A construction worker can at least point to a building or bridge or whatever and say I helped make that they helped create something that will last.
