7. I quite admire Nixon. There's a lot to like about the man.

To my mind he could have been among our top five Presidents. And yeah, unlike Obama who is a neoliberal technocrat, Nixon was a true liberal.

Unfortunately, then there's Nixon's dark side which just totally obliterates all the good he tried to do. The worst of it was deliberately interfering with the Paris peace talks in 1968.
