I agree.

Many of them were right here a few times this year screeching like Banshees over the name of a football team...

meanwhile, on many reservations, Native Americans were suffering from the effects of true racism. Alcoholism. Drug addiction. Poverty. Disease. Hopelessness.

So, yeah. All that screeching made for a pretty good show. But, in the end, not a damned thing improved, and wasn't likely to improve, even if the Washington Redskins changed their name to the Washington Furry Kittens.
