Curious about what kind of net service my American friends get. If you don't mind sharing, how's your download speed and what do you pay for it?
Here (British Midlands), I pay roughly $50 a month for 150Mbs, no cap.

speedtest.net is a good way to get quantitative numbers, and it's easy too

$72 a month with all taxes and fees for 25Mbs, most times I get about 17-18 due to traffic.

AT&T for $45/month coming in at 2.45 Mbps download and upload speed of .42, it's called DSL.

105 Mbps, good for youtube, $49 a month, landline hard wired. Faster with adblock and firewall.
