I pay nearly 200 a month for combined (standard) tv and (standard) internet. I just checked and the internet alone at that speed would be about 40 a month (add in fees and taxes and it would probably jump to 50 or more).
I just bought a HD antenna for one of our tv's and returned one box and dropped a tier that somehow got added by the cable company on its own to lower the bill. As soon as I can talk other family members in to it, I hope to drop the tv service and just use internet.

speedtest.net is a good way to get quantitative numbers, and it's easy too

$72 a month with all taxes and fees for 25Mbs, most times I get about 17-18 due to traffic.

AT&T for $45/month coming in at 2.45 Mbps download and upload speed of .42, it's called DSL.

105 Mbps, good for youtube, $49 a month, landline hard wired. Faster with adblock and firewall.
