The night before I left for the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas it was a nice, brisk -26. Warmed all the way up to -17 by the time I sprinted from the front door to the cab. But a few thousand people got completely snowed in from Chicago and points northeast, especially from NYC north and never made it to Vegas at all. Airports were closed up and down the eastern seaboard from Boston to Philly.
