(7,908 posts)32. I got a warning ticket back in the late 70s . . . for hitchiking on
I-70 (where pedestrians are prohbited). But on local roads and even state highways? It really pisses me off that cops are essentially harassing the poor . . . for being poor. WTF? Seems they could at least find some unarmed black youth to shoot to justify their salaries and benefits.
