I will take my chances. There are countless examples of people calling the cops for help with for example, a disturbed family member and ending up with them dead. Most of them have a short fuse, are completely unable to listen to your side of the story. All they do is bark orders and if you do not comply within a second they throw you on the ground or worse. Let's face it, good cops are a thing of the past. The past generation has seen militarization of the police and lowering of the standards to the point you have complete oafs walking the street.
