I'd have thought all of this to be common knowledge by now, and particularly to those arguing as stridently as you appear to be. #10 was largely discredited as being a story changing fool already by Lawrence O'Donnell, and one who would never have survived cross examination as a result. Maybe you should do more homework...

ANd given that this was the result the prosecutor wanted http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-ferguson-da-analysis-20141126-story.html , the idea that a real criminal trial would have necessarily ended with the same result would have likely required a similar skewering on his part.
