2. The American right wing nuttery has been exporting their ideology across the world

Australia comes to the mind first, but it has showed up in France, it's trying hard in Canada, and in many other industrialized countries of the world.

I started becoming suspicious of Russia too when 1) right wingers started praising Putin and 2) the right wing neo-nazi's in Ukraine made an appearance. I now believe the US right wing has been in contact with the Kremlin and are working behind the scenes there now. I'm not convinced, but it sure smells like it.
