I have a Q for you Savannahmann, since you seem well-versed about this. We spent a over a $trillion fighting Al-Qaeda in Iraq. The Iraq War. Now we're fighting ISIS in Iraq.

In Syria, we're working WITH Al-Qaeda to get Assad with the end-goal of fighting ISIS, as I understand the reasoning.

Are we still fighting Al-Qaeda in Iraq? Are we working with them in Iraq? Do they wear some type of clothing or bandana or something that tells us who they are so we know they're "bad" in Iraq but "good" in Syria?
