(4,462 posts)85. Read my prior posts in this thread concerning the obligations and duties of a prosecutor,
including their vast discretion, and the role and expectations of a grand jury.
For instance, a prosecutor does not act on behalf of the victim or their family. They represent the State, and are under no obligation to pursue criminal action against anyone.
