(47,992 posts)Re "she" and "her": What makes a person whoever/whatever that individual person is? What is it, without which, s/he would not be exactly who s/he is? Are these traits more temporary things, or more permanent things? Or a unique ratio of the two?
Though all things in "reality" are in one rate of change or another, wouldn't the truth consist in knowing as fully as possible which is which, so the extent to which one's own behavior is derived from honest and authentic awareness of truth would be the extent to which you are real and the more real one's being is, the less limited to time it is.
Lord Jesus and other avatars of truth are good examples of this. I don't know about the location of their consciousness, but I do know that their specific consciousnesses in- form -ed their behaviors which affect us now. The world is not the same world it would have been had they never existed, had they not done what they did. It's different in a VERY particular way that they authored, no matter what anyone thinks about that.
These things are true also of how our own consciousness in- forms behavior and, thus, affects others directly and indirectly, though it appears that our beings are somewhat more admixed with dross, entropy, in knowing the truth and are therefore less likely to affect much outside of our most direct personal relationships.
