Perhaps I can be a little too pragmatically minded for my own good, I dunno. As I said earlier:

Yes, AAs are indeed gunned down at an alarming rate. The reason I posted that, however, was that some folks out there may not get the bigger picture.....

So, yes, I'm sorry you got a bad impression, but I wasn't trying to make the point that you thought I was. Hope this clears things up a little.
