The message he conveyed was that Trayvon's parents felt the "apology" was for the judge and the media.

There was also discussion over the wording "sorry for the loss of your son" versus "sorry I murdered your son."

It wasn't a "loss."

It was murder. You experience "loss" when someone is murdered but if I temporarily lose my car keys, it's not the same as having a member of my family murdered by a "self-apointed neighborhood watch captain."
