(7,604 posts)111. You imagine that 99% of the electorate subscribes to
your political beliefs, and then claim that somehow the people who disagree with you keep getting elected. You seem to lack any understanding of how democracies work. It must astound you that the President is still supported by a vast majority of Democrats.
Parties represent their members, nowadays they even have primaries. Their views are not a religion, there is no Democratic canon law. Their views can even change over time as society changes.
