Self-Inflicted Wounds. [View all]

Regarding George Zimmerman. I wouldn't put it past someone who just realized they killed an unarmed teenager after the police dispatch told him not to follow someone to grab a knife, screwdriver, broken glass, etc. and cut himself in order to make it look like self-defense. I'm not saying this is what happened, but how can they rule out that wasn't what happened? Surface head wounds bleed ALOT even though they're usually very non-life-threatening. And it's easy to just reach around and cut yourself with a sharp object on the back of your head, especially not having to see the wound makes it easier. Maybe he heard the sirens in the distance, had an "oh shit I'm f**ked!" moment and needed a defense.

Maybe I'm wrong. Either way, Trayvon had every right to stand his own ground against someone who was stalking and menacing him. I don't know how the narrative took such a strange turn. This is how the narrative should have been coming from the media and news: Today a 17yr old teenage boy lost his life trying to fight off a man who stalked and initiated an attack on him. The young man lost his life while walking home from the store from a gun shot wound after his attacker opened fire on him, killing him on the scene.

George should have been arrested on day 1. The Sanford Police should be ashamed of themselves.
