Meanwhile the good ones are run off. That's a big problem of on-line forums.

Nadine has always been at the top of DU. But some asshole bullies ganged up on her and finally drove her away. There were many here who stood with her, but so many all out personal attacks took their toll.

Why contribute to a forum where you are bullied?

Of course, that invites the question Why does one go to an online forum to bully?

The answer is because some people are nothing more than utter douche bags. They are the ones who need to be driven off.

Certainly not an asset like Nadine.
