125. ironically, 28% of rush limbaugh radio stations (170+) depend on athletes

between 25 and 40% of all 1200 or so republican talk radio stations depend heavily on broadcasting sports for community cred and ad dollars. republican radio as a whole probably couldn't survive without it.

many pro and college teams are being used to sell excuses for the racism and make it more acceptable, and have been for decades, by the radio stations that rent their team logos. more than a few cops probably listen to republican talk radio. in places like mizzou it's the only free source for news weather sports traffic, and politics.

those republican radio stations have all been making excuses for police brutality and murderous cops, and many of them have been using racism for 25 years to divide the country and sell koch bros/ALEC style voter suppression. fox is small potatoes compares with talk radio.

the athletes can't do much about that but our communities can. i love seeing protests and expressions like that and shutting down highways, but maybe protestors can also include some radio stations and the universities that support them.
