I think that it will not just be one issue, but a series of events that will cause the change. And yes, social media will be the entity of a sort of new revolution. People who once would have been ignored as a part of the 'unwashed masses' can now speak out.
These things have been going on since time immemorial. No one really knew how wide spread it was. Now we do. Now we know that we can get support from the billions of other nobodies. That is scaring the establishment. We are coming to a point where the people are going to remember that we have the power to get rid of anybody we choose.
