(10,539 posts)now they are they are not even in the same Universe together. Wall Street didn't give her all of that money to be nice. Same with Obama as it was with Bill, and it will be if Hillary wins. Wall Street will still be virtually above the law and they will get EVERYTHING from us!
I wish we did not have this divide between loyal Democrats who want to play it safe to not risk losing to the Republicans, and the rest of us who are now considered "far left" just because we have stayed true to the principles espoused by the Party, rather than the Party itself. It is done to marginalized and diminish us.
It is a Faustian choice to vote for the lessor of two evils to prevent a Republican victory, which none of us want, or remain true to our principles and vote for those who have the American people first in their hearts. The lesser of two evils is still a corporate controlled hack whose self interests they put above the people they represent and I cannot do it anymore.
I wish the traditionalist would at least vote their ideals in the Primary and see what happens. Left to a choice between any Democrat and a Republican, most of us will step in line. If Bernie runs as a third Party candidate there will be trouble because many will do what I will and vote for him vs. any Corpratist.
